The creation of a new space around our patio will enhance community well-being by providing a therapeutic space for relaxation, fostering social interaction and active engagement. Featuring beautiful native plantings attractive to birds and pollinators with flowers and herbs in an ever changing palette of color, texture, and fragrance providing interest year round.

Our patio garden area will allow us to expand health and wellness activities such as yoga and meditation outdoors, and offer opportunities to participate in garden activities including planting vegetables and herbs, and caring for the garden. We will bring new community programs and interactive workshops related to sustainable gardening and stewardship of our environment. Examples: container gardening vegetables-herbs-flowers, healthy eating from your garden, garden design, fostering soil health without use of herbicides and pesticides, supporting wildlife and pollinators, identifying and understanding the lifecycle of birds and pollinators, etc.
